Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage let a website remember information between visits. This policy explains how Tausi uses them.

2. How we use cookies

Tausi keeps cookie use to a minimum. We use them only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences — never for advertising or to track you across other websites.

3. Cookies and storage we use

  • Authentication session — keeps you securely logged in to your account.
  • Language preference (tausi_lang) — remembers whether you chose English or Kiswahili.
  • Theme preference (tausi_theme) — remembers light or dark mode.
  • Sidebar state (tausi-sidebar) — remembers whether the sidebar is collapsed.
The last three are stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to our servers.

4. No advertising or tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cross-site trackers. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Note that disabling the authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent you from using your account.

6. Changes & contact

We may update this Cookie Policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page. Questions? Email privacy@tausi.app.
